Currently, he is a Ph.D. student in Chemical Engineering at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, focusing his research on new precursor materials for carbon membranes. He completed his master's degree in the field of mixed matrix inorganic membranes for olefin and paraffin separation, with the addition of zeolites in carbon membranes. He worked as a scientific initiation scholarship holder in the Department of Chemical Engineering at the same university, in the area of Membrane Separation Processes. He received the "Young Researcher" award in 2018 in the field of "Engineering" for the scientific initiation work developed.
